Finesse@Covid19: Virtual National Certificate Workshop

The English department organised a national level virtual certificate workshop from July
14 , 2020 to August 5 2020 on the topic Understanding and Interpreting Ecocriticism in
Literature and Literary Adaptations.
The workshop was open for faculty members, research scholars, professionals and
students.
The department collaborated with The Nature Volunteers and Vak Productions for this
workshop. Mr. Dev Kumar Vasudevan,Mrs Rachna Johri,and Dr Deepa Vanjani were
the resource persons.
The keynote speaker in the inaugural session was Dr Rimika Singhvi , Head of the
English department,IIS University,Jaipur and Dr BJ Geetha, Associate Professor from
Department of Humanities and Social Sciences,Central University of Tamilnadu,
Thiruvarur was the keynote speaker during the valedictory.
