Event – Celebration of International Year of Chemistry-2011

On January 01, 2011, the department of Chemistry celebrated the International Year of
Chemistry-2011, for its achievements in Chemistry and contributions to the humankind. During
the event, faculties (subject experts) and students brought out the role of chemistry in daily life
and major scientific discoveries that have changed the lifestyle and scenario of the world. The
aim of the program was to increase the interest of the young people in Chemistry.
