ABOUT THE COLLEGE

PMB Gujarati Science College is one of the leading science colleges of the state and one of the nine colleges under the aegis of Shri Gujarati Samaj, Indore. Accredited grade ‘A’ by naac, the college, established in the year 1951, is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. It receives financial assistance from the UGC, under section 12( b) and 2 (f) of the UGC Act 1956. The college enjoys the reputation of providing holistic education to students hailing from socially and economically weak sections. Ease of accessibility is one of its prominent features, owing to its proximity to both, the railway station and the bus stand.

ABOUT SHRI GUJARATI SAMAJ

Shri Gujarati Samaj ,Indore has been doing commendable work in the field of education for more than seven decades. Starting humbly with seven students in a jail road situated school ,in the year 1923, the Trust now spearheads nine colleges and four schools in indore. Apart from traditional degrees, the samaj has ventured into professional and vocational education as well. The philanthropic bent of mind of the trust is reflected by its many charitable endeavours which include medical facilities at a bare minimum annual fee, vocational training to women to empower them , an ambulance service, providing financial assistance for marriage of girls from underprivileged families and many more. Shri Gujarati Samaj,Indore has eagerly stood by the nation in moments of crisis such as the corona pandemic, the tsunami, Kedarnath earthquake ,only to name a few.
